The Hybrid Method

Assignments are submitted through the portal and personally evaluated with feedback, supported by an in-app discussion forum and a weekly live clarification session at 7:45 PM (India time), with recordings available. The second part is a guided live project batch, which can be joined from any upcoming schedule. This flexible structure allows learners to continue modules during busy periods and join a later project batch if required. All project sessions are recorded, ensuring deeper learning, practical application, and extended interaction for a thorough, outcome-driven experience.

Most engineers joining this mentoring have exposure to software and site execution, but still feel unsure about the engineering correctness of their designs. Premjit Pv

Premjit is a Chartered Structural Engineer (India) with 25 + years of experience in Structural Analysis & Design of Building Structures. Experienced in structural design and consulting & coordinating multidisciplinary multi office projects as a Technical lead & project manager. Knowledge of Indian, British, Middle East & South African Standards of Design & practice.

He has been in leadership roles in firms like ATKINS, managing International projects like Gautrain metro.

He is currently a practicing structural consultant & a mentor in Bangalore & Kochi in India.

Why I Started this Mentoring?

There are a lot of capable Engineers some with even Masters. Unfortunately, many end up doing odd non engineering works. Many starts learning but leave it due to lack of idea and methods.
 ONLY 5% gets a learning outcome.   I want to help them get back to Technical Roles.

We want to give the best but simple ways to master structures.

 Many Engineers drop out of the normal learning because it is just a like another lecture or a software training. There is no clarity, There is no outcome. It was like this when I started my career. It continues to be like that even now.

I wanted to put an end to this. Researched on why Engineers are not getting results. I realised the main reason is lack of a method. Many international research establish that a learning provides an outcome if contents are carefully curated and sequenced. If followed up with proper tests and assignments and validation the confidence level and decision making ability of engineers are seen to be 5 times more. If this is done in an engaging community, it is seen that different view points are discussed and appreciated and engineers becomes more accountable. If the community is gamified, the interest level is seen to be increasing by  times. If guided by an experienced mentor, the rate of learning & the outcome is seen improve by 6 times.

You will also be able to shift to structural roles , freelance or establishing consultancy based on how well you dedicate and also based on your current experience and acumen. While we do all our best to help Engineers with the right attitude and aptitude to find their way, we do not guarantee any placement. Most of the dedicated students have been doing well in their career and many are doing own businesses as well.

You need to follow the core structure of the program. This is based on a proven method which has brought results to many engineers similar to you. The method involves you doing modules which includes videos, blogs, Quiz, Assignments, Projects, Group works and activities that lets you master technical points, reinforce the learning and bring in the ability to demonstrate it in front of your clients and company.

No. The minimum qualification needed is a degree in Civil Engineering. We do ensure you are a right fit and you get results after the program. We recommend the program only after this discussion.

While it is good to have a Masters, as per the prevailing rules as per National Building Code of India, Engineering degree with experience is the yardstick to qualify as a structural engineer. Some companies might give preference to engineers with masters. But it is not a blanket rule. Many large consulting firms are headed by engineers with BE/B-Tech. There might be some cities in India ( very rare) that mandates stability certificate to be signed by an engineer with masters. In nutshell, what matters is a basic degree in civil engineering and your knowledge and experience. Even having masters with out good understanding is not a great situation to be in.

There are many practicing engineers with BE/B-tech in Civil and Masters in related civil fields who are doing really well in structures. What matters is the technical knowledge you have and the experience.

As long as you have a BE/B-Tech in Civil Engineering and have a good aptitude and dedication, you can join the program. We do qualify you and discuss and check if you are a right fit and if you get results after the program. We recommend the program only after this discussion.
